I pulled into the lovely grounds and felt right at home. The decor inside is inviting with charming details everywhere. My room, the Superior King Room WINCHELSEA, had a comfortable king-size bed and interesting teas. Unfortunately, it got really hot with no air conditioning, just a single sash window that didn’t cool it down much, despite a fan being provided. The bathroom could use a stronger extractor fan. the musty smell lingered a bit. Breakfast was a highlight with a big selection of hot and cold options. I appreciated the option to double up on anything I desired. The staff, especially Megan and Denise, were incredibly kind. They took great care of us during our stay. The only downside was the parking. it got a bit tight at busy times. the location is perfect for easily walking into town. I'd definitely consider returning if I'm in Rye again.

I had a delightful stay at Willow Tree. The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The breakfast was exceptional, with a range of delicious options. Minor noise from the nearby road was a slight distraction, but the overall experience was lovely.

Highly recommend for those who value comfort and service.
I gotta say, the personal service was great. Bob himself brought me extra cookies to my room like I was a kid again, just a nice touch you wouldn't expect from a place like this.
Yeah, it wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, I’d say it's a fair price.

Had a blast with my friends! We explored the nearby Camber Sands beach for long walks and enjoyed board games during our chill nights. The breakfast was top-notch! A lovely spacious bedroom with great decor and on-site parking made our stay even better. We’ll definitely return!
The shower room was nice, but it could use more lighting as it was a bit dim for my taste.

A fantastic stay while exploring local art galleries and historic sites. The Superior Double Bodiam was a real gem with its cozy character, making it a great retreat after busy days. Being so close to attractions like Lamb House and the Rye Art Gallery made it easy to fill our days with culture. We particularly enjoyed the lovely ambiance of the town during evening walks to St Mary's Church.

Denise, the host, provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere, whipping up excellent breakfasts and allowing us to store our bags for a late departure. The Appledore room was spacious, particularly the well-equipped bathroom, although sloped ceilings might pose challenges for taller guests. Nearby attractions such as the Rye Heritage Centre and the scenic pathway to Camber Sands enhance the stay, but those with mobility issues should confirm room accessibility in advance.

Exceptional hospitality and a fabulous breakfast
We had an excellent stay with a warm welcome from the staff, who truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring fresh local produce with delicious sausages that really stood out. Our room was spacious, and the overall charm of the place, combining historical features and modern comfort, was just perfect. Though the bathroom was a bit small, it was functional and did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

The exceptional breakfast featuring local sausages was a real highlight.
The price was on the higher side, but justified by the quality.
